You Should Know
I think I repeat myself sometimes. Looking at my pages of notes leading to publication of this site I see a lot of common themes that should have been taken care of at one sitting. I made notes instead and then went back and repeated myself almost verbatim later. All I really wanted to say with this note is to enable Javascript to best view this site. I will even tell you how if you have it turned off. I use Java Script to some very small degree, mostly to perform actions not done easily with HTML. You should have Java Script enabled to view this site.
Look, I'm gonna say it once. You should have Java Script enabled to best view this site. If you've learned anything since you've been surfing you should be protected well enough so that Java Script does not pose a threat to you. Especially the little scripts that I use. So relax already. Nothing here will hurt you. As for me, I'm not going to rewrite the site to make it user friendly and I'm not going to put up a separate version for the Java-challenged. I did that on my resume pages but putting together two sites using alternate coding is not on my list of favorite things to do. I do enough manipulation with the html to try to cater to both the Firefox and Internet Explorer browsers. That was frustrating in ways that I will talk about in another place. At one point I almost (gasp) recommended using IE instead of Firefox. But I digress...
I'm only going to say this once. Enable Java Script. If you need help I even give you some hints here. And if you don't? Well, it's no big deal. Your browser has a Back button--use it. Navigate with oars for all I care. Anything running off scripts is only for your convenience and it doesn't matter to me. I use it and I like it but if you spend all your free time at warez and porn then I don't blame you for leaving it off. If you do that though, Java Script isn't the worst of your worries anyway.
